Become a vital character in Trust International's dynamic team story. Working alongside two experienced Demand and Supply Planners, you'll contribute to the evolution of our three-year-old Demand Planning team and six-month-old Supply Planning team. Reporting directly to the Demand & Supply Planning Manager, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future, actively participating in process improvements and automation initiatives. What sets our team apart is the commitment to a data-driven approach, moving away from Excel to embrace Python and Power BI and transforming the business where S&OP will become the heart of the organisation. As a Demand and Supply Planner at Trust International, you will play a crucial role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our demand and supply planning processes. Your responsibilities will span both demand and supply planning functions, contributing to the success and growth of our organization.


Demand planning:

  • Maintain a 12-month rolling forecast to enhance accuracy and planning precision.
  • Analyze trends to improve Forecast Accuracy (FA%) and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Clean and manage data within the forecasting tool to enhance baseline forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Category Management on New Product Introduction (INO) forecast data and ensure alignment with overall demand plans.
  • Challenge sales teams to validate demand plan inputs and ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with country heads to align on total market demand plans.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, providing insights during monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.


Supply Planning

  • Generate a weekly supply plan based on forecast inputs, ensuring alignment with demand plans.
  • Identify supply constraints and collaborate with the business to mitigate supply risks effectively.
  • Ensure optimal product availability across all three warehouses while optimizing supply chain costs.
  • Manage safety stock levels, considering each product's life cycle and demand variability.
  • Cooperate with our global Procurement team ensuring optimal order quantities and supply conditions, considering complex production prerequisites.


Projects:

  • Contribute to the ongoing data-driven journey by actively participating in the automation of manual tasks and reporting processes.
  • Enhance Power BI dashboards to provide better visibility on risks, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Improve the current phase-in/phase-out management plan, specifically focusing on safety stock and forecasting accuracy.
  • Drive improvements in New Product Introduction (NPI) forecasting processes.
  • Help with testing and validation of the GO-live implementation of our demand and supply planning tool.


Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of proven working experience in Supply or Demand Planning (within the consumer electronics or related industry as a pre).
  • Pro-active mindset with the ability to independently make decisions and drive initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborative and result-driven attitude, thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Ability to simplify and effectively communicate complex data to senior leadership.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in building dashboards in Power BI or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with manipulating large datasets and automating tasks using Python (pre-existing skills are a plus).
