Description of the role

At Trust we create innovative solutions for digital accessories and as a data-driven company, market research and market trends play a crucial role in our organization.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Intern to join our Research and Development team. This internship offers you an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in market research, product development, and product testing. You will engage in a variety of tasks aimed to turn market insights to innovative practices and product development The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about technology, market data and eager to contribute to our innovative projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research on new technologies, new products and market trends.

• Analyse competitive products to make product benchmarks.

• Create comprehensive product concept files in collaboration with the team members.

• Support the R&D team in testing products at various stages of development. Perform quality and performance tests on newly released and upcoming products. Document and analyse test results to support the development process.

Qualifications

As an ideal candidate you meet the following profile:

• MBO, HBO or master student, preferably related to market data or research & development.

• Available for minimum 24 hours a week and minimum 3 months for an internship in our head office in Dordrecht (on-site).

• Strong interest in consumer electronics, technology and product development.

• Enthusiastic and cooperative team player.

• Excellent analytical and research skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Basic knowledge of electronics

• Preferred experience playing videogames and using the related accessories

• Fluent in English
